Can’t get enough of Lisa? LILIES have another solo era to follow as the BLACKPINK star gets ready to release Press Play. The rollout started with a mystery campaign that appeared across Bangkok, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Red billboards displayed the word “HELLO” in different languages alongside a countdown to August 24, leaving fans guessing about what Lisa had planned.

The mystery ended with Lisa unveiling Press Play, a six-track EP arriving on October 23, 2026. The project follows her 2025 album Alter Ego and takes a more personal look at her journey from Thailand to the global stage. But what exactly can LILIES expect from Press Play?
What Is Press Play About?
Press Play draws from Lisa’s journey from Buriram, Thailand, to her life as a global solo artist. She has described the EP as a personal project that reflects her roots while showing how much her career has changed over the years.
The project follows Alter Ego, Lisa’s first full-length solo album, which sought out to introduce her several sides with different sounds and collaborations.Press Play takes a tighter approach by telling her journey through six songs that, according to Lisa herself, connect like scenes in a film.
The first single, “SaWaDiKa,” – released on September 3, 2026 – already sets the tone by using the well-known Thai greeting. With producers Thom Bridges and Ojivolta contributing, the song leans into the rap-heavy style that has become closely linked to her solo work while bringing her Thai background into the center of the rollout. The music video reinforces that connection with scenes filmed in Bangkok, giving the track a strong visual identity

Another release is already on the way. During her September 16 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lisa revealed that track four will become the next single. She only shared one clue about the title: it begins with the letter “T.”
That leaves plenty of room for speculation as the countdown to October 23 continues.
What Is the Always Lalisa Documentary?
The Always Lalisa documentary follows Lisa through a major stretch of her solo career. Directed by Sue Kim, the film covers the making of Alter Ego, her 2025 Coachella performance, and her acting debut in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus.
The 97-minute documentary premiered at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival on September 11 before its theatrical release on October 12 in IMAX and select cinemas.
That puts the film just days ahead of Press Play, giving Lisa another major solo project to headline October. The documentary also expands the story beyond music by showing the work behind her performances and her move into acting.
When Is Lisa’s Vegas Residency?
Lisa will also take VIVA LA LISA to Las Vegas in November, performing four shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The residency runs on November 13, 14, 27, and 28, 2026. Caesars Entertainment announced the engagement as Lisa’s first Las Vegas residency and described her as the first K-pop artist to hold one in the city.
Tickets for Lisa’s Las Vegas performances are available through official ticketing channels.
Where Can You Preorder or Pre-Save Press Play?
The Lisa Press Play EP drops on October 23, 2026, through RCA Records under an exclusive license from Lisa’s own label, Lloud Co.
Lisa’s official website has already opened preorder and pre-save options ahead of the release. Physical CD and vinyl editions are also available through Lisa’s official online store, alongside regional variants.
