Reuniting After Going Solo
What makes the BLACKPINK World Tour 2025 especially significant is that it marks the group’s first full tour since each member has established impressive solo careers. Each member has ventured into individual projects spanning music, fashion, acting, and more.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie Mantra Release turned heads across the music world! The talented idol stepped up her solo game with this chart-topping track. Fans couldn’t get enough when she joined forces with Zico for their catchy “SPOT!” collaboration.
In 2024, she made her solo comeback with Mantra and this year she’s about to launch her own solo album, Ruby, which includes her latest collaboration with rapper Doechii, ExtraL, and Love Hangover with Dominic Fike.
Jennie has also continued to establish herself as a global fashion icon with numerous high-profile brand ambassadorships like Chanel and Calvin Klein.
Similarly, Jisoo has successfully balanced her music and acting career. She released her solo album AMORTAGE with the title track entitled earthquake. She will also embark on a solo fanmeet tour, LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION! across different countries including Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.
Jisoo has also had a few acting projects such as the zombie comedy series Newtopia that is currently streaming on Prime Video. She is also set to star in several dramatic productions, including Boyfriend on Demand alongside Seo In Guk.
On the other hand, Rosé has been mainly focusing on her music. Her solo career has soared, especially with her hit single APT. featuring Bruno Mars has become a global viral sensation. She also has garnered recognition as a singer-songwriter with the release of her solo album Rosie, where she co-wrote the entire record.
Rosé had generated buzz with noticeable performances such as being part of the international star-studded line up of the Gala des Pièces Jaunes 2025, as well as her solo in-studio debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Finally, Lisa has been one of the busiest members, taking on multiple music projects including her singles like Rockstar and Moonlit Floor, which she performed in the latest Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She has also released her solo album Alter Ego, with her latest title track Fxck Up The World.
Lisa also dipped her toes in acting as a part of the cast of White Lotus Season 3, set in Thailand, which also landed her in the cover of Vanity Fair’s 31st Hollywood Issue.
Daydreaming the BLINK Experience
So now the girl gang is back, what is on our wishlist to see in BLACKPINK’s 2025 World Tour?
Solo Stages
In their past concerts, BLACKPINK has had solo stages, and we think this tour won’t be any different. Although, it would be exciting to watch them perform their new solo songs in one stage. Imaging seeing Mantra, earthquake, number one girl, and Rockstar in one night? Makes the bloodbath of buying the ticket very worth it.
Special Stages
Asides from BLACKPINK’s greatest hits, it would be cool to see other special stages with all of the girls. It could be something fun like the time they recreated the iconic Jingle Bell Rock performance from Mean Girls.
Or, what would be cooler is to see them perform each other’s songs together. Can you imagine an OT4 stage of Born Again? Iconic!
The Fashion
The girls are fashion icons in their own right, being ambassadors for houses like Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Louis Vuitton. For their concerts, they are also known to wear really cool emerging designers.
In the past they have worn brands like Miss Sohee, Yueqi Qi, and AREA. It would be interesting which young talent they tap for this world tour.
But we think for BLACKPINK’s 2025 World Tour, expect the unexpected. What we’re sure of is that the girls are taking it to the next level, with vocals that’ll resonate, choreography that’ll ignite, and a stage presence that’ll redefine global stardom.Would you want to miss that?
