Statement Piece follows Lily, a young gallerist preparing for her first big exhibition. She has worked hard under pressure from her boss and the public. Everything seems set for success until the final painting arrives. It is delivered by the mysterious artist Gopal Rangaraj, and what Lily sees shocks her. Her entire career is at risk. Even her girlfriend Marjia, a fellow artist, cannot ease her fear. How far would you go to protect your vision?
The production follows Yan’ acclaimed debut production Brown Boys Don’t Tell Jokes back in 2023. A talented cast brings the characters to life, featuring Huzir Sulaiman, Rusydina Afiqah, and Tricia Tan.
