It is run by a husband-and-wife duo who previously honed their skills as resident chefs for the British High Commissioner. The hawker stall brings genuine Penang flavours to the table, earning them a Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2024.
They offer beloved classics like Char Kway Teow and Prawn Mee, but the true star is their Penang Assam Laksa. Prepared fresh daily using yellowtail fish, the broth delivers a complex blend of tangy and mildly spicy flavors, perfectly complementing the thick rice noodles. The addition of shrimp paste adds a rich umami depth, while a generous amount of fresh mint gives the laksa its distinctive, refreshing character.
